The History Behind the Applied Logo
Since the early 1600s, the St. Bernard has been known as a powerful working dog, respected for its dependability, strength, and intelligence. These characteristics, combined with the animal's unwavering determination, ingenuity and a strong sense of smell and direction, allowed the St. Bernard to be trained as a reliable snowstorm rescue dog, helping save thousands of lives throughout the centuries.
While the St. Bernard is no longer used as a rescue dog, its personality and capabilities accurately symbolize the Applied Underwriters brand: strong, dependable, intelligent, and diligent.
The Partners at Applied Underwriters
